are used in the construction of a Prestige Hood. We are able to offer a vast choice of grades and colours to suit every pocket and taste. In all
cases we offer the manufacturers original quality as well as a high quality
budget priced alternative. For vehicles that were originally fitted with a
vinyl hood we can offer the opportunity to upgrade to a superior quality
canvas fabric hood.

Vinyl Materials
Vinyl is used extensively as original equipment on many classic and modern
cabriolet's. For the Classic Car Industry we offer two
original grades of vinyl ("HD" or "SV" Quality) with a
large choice of colours available. In addition we also offer our Cabriolet
Vinyl ("CV") which is original equipment for the many modern convertibles
such as Ford, Volkswagen, Mazda etc. |

"HD" VINYL
A popular grade
vinyl specifically formulated to reproduce the texture and appearance of
the vinyl hoods on most Classic British sports cars. With a life
expectancy of 5 years plus, this vinyl offers outstanding value. Available
in black only.

"SV" VINYL
(Original
for most British Classic Sports Cars)
Used as Original
Equipment by most British sports car manufacturers.
Our “SV” Vinyl Hoods are considered to
be the best choice for those seeking to retain that “original factory
appearance. The typical life expectancy for this material is over
10 years. Available in: Black, Blue, White, Cream, Red, Beige, Tan, Green

"CV" CABRIOLET VINYL
(Original for the Mazda MX-5
and most Cabriolet’s)
A modern very high
quality vinyl that is used as original equipment by motor manufacturers on
the vast majority of today's convertibles. This type of vinyl is used
extensively on cabriolet's from Ford, Volkswagen, Peugeot, Mazda and many
others. Being of a modern formulae this vinyl offers greater wear and tear
characteristics than most other vinyl's and is highly recommended. Colour
available are Black, Dk. Blue, Tan, Grey, Beige & White. Click

Fabric Materials
Fabric hoods offer many
advantages over vinyl hoods. The material is generally more pliable,
harder wearing and less susceptible to temperature variations. Improved
insulation is particularly noticeable. |

“MH” MOHAIR STANDARD
(Original for many modern 2
door sports convertibles)
Commonly
referred to as Mohair canvas but technically is a very high quality,
engineered "twill weave" hooding material specially formulated to the
exacting standards of the modern motor industry and used as original
equipment by many of the worlds luxury car manufacturers. A Mohair hood does not require any special treatments
and is harder wearing than a standard vinyl hood. Mohair can be chosen
to replace a standard vinyl hood on most classic convertibles. Benefits
include superior quality, improved fit and noticeable reduction in cabin
noise through improved insulation qualities inherent in the fabric. Our
standard Mohair is available in black only and features a black "dobby"
lining to the inside of the hood. Colour options are available in our
Mohair Plus range.

"MH Plus" MOHAIR
PLUS
(Original for many luxury
convertibles such as Mercedes, BMW, Porsche etc)
A
superior quality material with the distinctive German Twill Weave used
as original equipment by leading European manufacturers and widely considered to be the finest car hooding material
available. We have seen 20 plus year old examples of hoods made from
this fabric that still look as good as new.
Mohair plus is available in
a wide range of colours with a black or beige interior lining. Some
