An Unique MGB Hood with Padded
Headlining
Without
doubt this is the most advanced Soft Top ever produced for the MGB.
Available in a choice of Supeior Quality Vinyls or Premium Quality Mohair
fabric, "The Cabriolet Top" named due to its close design links
with modern day convertibles, includes exclusive new features such as
extra thick padding on side window valances and a superb fully padded
luxurious interior headlining. On Mohair tops there is also a unique
piping around the rear window which enhances its appearance. Further
enhancements include redesigned rain guttering and the choice of
contrasting piping around the side windows and across the rear deck. The
headlining, made from a beautiful cream vinyl totally conceals the inside
of the frame, while thick insulation fitted between the frame bows
provides effective noise reduction. The improved insulation is immediately
apparent the minute you drive a vehicle fitted with one of these soft
tops. Wind noise is dramatically reduced especially at motorway speeds.
The Cabriolet Top has been carefully engineered to fold as easily as the
original top and can easily be fitted to any post 1971 black folding
frame. Standard tonneau and hood covers will fit as normal, however we
have also designed a superior padded hood cover with concealed fasteners
to compliment your new soft top.
